This event is organized by Wyndham Grand Algarve residences - a collection of five-star serviced apartments, ranging from 1 to 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom penthouses, which are available for purchase.

WYNDHAM ART EXHIBITION

“Wanderings”

Our inaugural art exhibition will feature artist Jessica Dunn´s work, which will be exhibited throughout the hotel and residences. A stunning collection of abstract landscapes will take you on a vibrant journey through the palette of the Algarve landscape. The art displayed will be available for purchase with 10% of all sales going to two charity organizations. An auction will also be held for one of the pieces, with the entirety of the proceeds going to these charities.

Passion for
Abstract Impression

Jessica Dunn was born in London in 1963 to renowned actors Priscilla Morgan and Clive Dunn. Her early life was surrounded with creativity having grown up in an artistic environment, fuelled by her father, who was also an eager amateur portrait artist.
After her art foundation at Kingston Polytechnic, she continued drawing, painting and printmaking, which then led her to the Algarve in Portugal.
Here she joined a design company and gained a passion for abstract impression of land, sea and sky, inspired by this region.
Jessica has her own studio in Boliqueime and has been exhibiting her work for over 20 years, throughout Portugal, the UK as well as Italy, having been featured in the Wall Street Journal online and Hello magazine.

The Art of giving

Our charitable auction aims to raise money for charity, combining the wonders of art with giving back.
The piece available for bid was generously donated by the artist, Jessica Dunn, and all proceeds from its sale will go directly to APEXA and EXISTIR, two commendable charities who do brilliant work to help the community.
We would like to thank all bidders for contributing to this great cause.

Bid information

You may bid directly through this platform, up to 4 days before the event, and/or in person at the auction, which will be held at Wyndham Grand Algarve on the 2nd of June at 7pm. Please note all bidders must be 18 years or over and every bid placed will be considered official. The auction winner must make the payment through a direct transfer to the charities.

APEXA

APEXA (Associação de Apoio à Pessoa Excepcional do Algarve) is a private institution of social solidarity, founded to create a support structure for people with disabilities. They promote innovative projects that provide them with a set of skills to facilitate their integration into the community. Some of these projects include: Adapted Sports, Art and Creativity Atelier, Social Intervention Office, Socio-professional Integration Office and Early Intervention.

EXISTIR

Existir (Associação para a Intervenção e Reabilitação de Populações Deficientes e Desfavorecidas) is a private institution of social solidarity that supports families, the elderly, individuals with disabilities and other citizens in need, through social integration, education, professional training and promotion of healthcare, culture, sports and leisure. Their ultimate mission is to improve the physical, mental and social well-being of this community.
